Dear Friends,
At Lil BUB’s Big FUND, we believe in keeping pets right where they belong, safe, loved, and home. Recently, through our Community Love initiative with Four Winds Connections, two very different pups reminded us why this work matters.
Zippy was hit by a car and left with a broken jaw. His surgery was costly, but a community of caring people stepped up. From veterinary partners, to fosters, to donations large and small, Zippy got the care he needed and is now recovering, “high as a kite” after surgery, but still trusting enough to leap right into a stranger’s car.
Korg, a 7-year-old American Bulldog, swallowed a sock and needed emergency surgery. His family was overwhelmed with fear, but together we were able to step in and cover part of his care. Today, Korg is safe, and his family is so grateful they didn’t have to choose between saving him and financial hardship.
These stories are part of our Community Love initiative with Four Winds Connections, a partnership that makes it possible to respond quickly to emergencies and keep pets with their families. But there are many more Zippys and Korgs who will need us. With your help, we can be there for them, too.
Being part of this community means everything, whether you donate, share stories, or simply care. Donations are never expected, but they are a powerful way to help us keep pets like Zippy and Korg where they belong.
And there’s even more to celebrate, this month marks 100 episodes of Lil BUB’s Lil Show!
From the beginning, BUB’s mission has been to spread love, magic, and compassion for special needs pets. Together, we’ve made that mission real, one animal, one family, one story at a time.
With gratitude,
Stacy & the Lil BUB Family
