At Lil BUB’s Big FUND, we know how life-changing the bond between a person and their pet can be. Our mission is to ensure that special needs pets stay with the families who love them, even in the face of difficult challenges.
Right now, we’re still working to help two incredible pets who we’ve introduced to you before—Nola and Bobby Jo.
Nola, a sweet dog hit by a car, needed expensive orthopedic care and needs ongoing support while in recovery. Her prognosis is great, but the financial strain is difficult. Nola is more than a pet; she’s a vital part of her family, offering love and emotional support when her family needs it most.
Here’s what Nola’s mom had to say about her, “Our Nola then & now! She’s my therapy dog for sure! Never ever did I think I’d ever become a dog person, always loved my cats! But this here dog I tell ya…so much love and happiness she brings!!!”
Bobby Jo, a special needs cat, requires ongoing treatments to help manage her health conditions, which includes treatment for FIP. The great news is that Bobby Jo has responded incredibly well to her medication. Without help, her family may struggle to continue providing the care she needs, which is a position no one should be in. Bobby Jo’s family is doing everything they can, and we want to ensure she gets the treatment she deserves. We know she’s worth it.
