Mental Health First Aid Certification Program
NACA’s Mental Health First Aid Certification Program equips animal care and control professionals with the tools to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges—both in themselves and in the communities they serve. By building resilience and awareness, this program aligns with NACA’s mission to support the well-being of officers while strengthening their capacity to provide compassionate, professional service in often high-stress environments.
